Our Mission
To collaborate with the community to empower, connect and impact families by alleviating diaper need. Learn more about HappyBottoms HERE.
Impact
Your volunteer efforts enable HappyBottoms to provide more than 6.7 million diapers annually to children from families in the KC Metro area, distributed through our network of community collaborators.
Preparation
Please wear closed toe shoes during your shift and comfortable clothes.
Description of Shift
You may enter through the glass doors from the parking lot. If they are locked, please ring the doorbell.
Check-in and learn how HappyBottoms is working to eliminate diaper need in the KC region, tour the warehouse and receive training.
Volunteers wrap diaper packages, label packages, and complete other tasks as requested
Wrapping diapers includes taking diapers out of boxes/bags, counting, bundling together with a strapping machine, wrapping with a shrink wrap machine or by hand and attaching labels. We have seated volunteer options available.
There will be light cleaning, sanitizing, recycling and disposing of trash created during the shift. Time will be allocated to take photos, provide us feedback about your experience and celebrate what you accomplished!
