Book Swap, if you've not made it to one of these bi-monthly events, is a night in at a Brookside Mom's house. The venue changes each time, but the format is a time-honored BMA tradition, borne out of the understanding that momlife isn't always conducive to regular participation in a conventional Book Club. BMA Book Swap is like a Book Club for people who like reading but can't commit to reading the same book (or any book) nor commit to showing up every time. Instead, BMA Book Swap is a free for all, zero commitment commitment, anyone can show up with or without a book.
If you're new to BMA or even if you've been around a while, Book Swap is a great way to meet new people in a casual, low key setting.
All we ask is that you bring your own drink (wine, beer, juice, whatever) and the hostess will provide light apps.
This month's loose theme is favorite easy reads. Discovered a great book on vacation this year that got you hooked back into reading? Share it literally or give your best in-person book review and watch as 15 moms hit download on their kindle.
